How we protect your photos

Your photos are never uploaded
The conversion runs entirely in your web browser, with JavaScript. When you choose a photo, your browser reads it from your device, converts it in memory, and offers the result as a download. The photo and the converted file are never sent to our server or to anyone else.
You can check this yourself:
- Convert one photo, then turn on airplane mode (or disconnect from the internet) and convert another one. It still works, because nothing needs to be sent.
- Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and convert a photo. You will see the page, its script, its font and the converter library being loaded from this site, and no request carrying your photo.
Converted files stay in your browser's memory until you close or reload the page, remove them from the list, or click “Clear list”.
Location data
The option “Remove location data (EXIF)” is on by default. With it, the converted file contains no metadata at all: no GPS position, date, or camera details. If you turn it off, JPG files keep the original EXIF data, including the location if your photo has one. PNG files never contain metadata.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. It does not use local storage. It does not ask for access to your camera, location, or notifications.
What the hosting provider may see
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives standard technical information when your browser requests them: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the page. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes this information under its own privacy policy. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors, and it never contains your photos.
Third parties
All files (page, script, font, converter library) are served from this site. No content is loaded from other domains.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
